We come from the collection side of this problem.
Setpoint Security was founded by two practitioners who each spent years in signals intelligence before moving into critical infrastructure security. That background shapes how we think about adversary behavior — not as a network problem, but as a collection and verification problem.
One founder leads ICS/OT security operations for a midstream energy company, covering pipeline SCADA, terminal operations, and MTSA-regulated facilities across a multi-site environment. His research focuses on physics-constraint detection frameworks for stealthy data falsification in pipeline control systems — specifically, how physical laws bound the space of plausible lies.
The other founder brings published research on temporal sovereignty in control systems and an extensive background in national security. His work examines how time itself can be weaponized or verified as a trust anchor in adversarial ICS environments.
Both of us are still active in the field. This is not a firm built by people who used to do this work. We are building the tools we wish we had.
